The study was conducted as part of the Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for the Maldives for the period 2023- 2027, with the aim of promoting gender equality and women's empowerment in the tourism and fisheries sectors in the Maldives. The findings and recommendations presented in this report are intended to inform policy and programmatic interventions that foster inclusive economic growth and enhance women's participation in these key sectors.
